Fish Food
I fed my fish a spider
I thought it might be fun
It sped across the water
And made me turn and run
It made me feel so frightened
I ran and screamed some more
So now I am enlightened
I will do this no more
The moral of this ditty
Is try to remain good
Always show humanity
When feeding fish their food
poignant yet fun to read… i love this great piece!
thanks for visiting my blog, penelopephoebe. 🙂

We could have sliced spider open, choosing its most delicate parts, and fried it with onion and fresh veggies. Nah – I’ll bet that spider was probably a delicious change from stinky fish flakes:) Loved it peneolopephoebe! Thank you kindly for vising my site. -J.

I just had to come back and thank you so much for highlighting my blog on Onestop. It was most gracious of you! You commented on a recent post saying, “You certainly make me think”. I cannot thank you enough for such a warm comment. It is that very comment that keeps me reading the work of others and in doing so – inspires me to write. I do not have the time now (that school has begun) to spend online reading as I did so much of back in August, but I look forward to reading more of your blog, and the many others featured on Onestop. Thanks again –
Daniel Jay.

I spoke honestly about your work, Daniel, though I am quite discerning about who I would highlight:>)
