Pipe Dream

Pipe dream

Warm glow suffusing old bones

Rapture at images

As I float above my dreams

Wisps of smoke curling

Mingling with euphoria

All worries fade

All cares disappear

As I breathe deeply and sigh

A familiar high

Engulfs me

As I dream of my lottery win.

  10. Good Morning Penny, how easy to just hop over here with your site on blog roll at wordzoo. Love reread this poem because Canada’s Friday Night lottery is at $50,000,000 (CAD) and that is mucho day-dreaming about what could occur. I do not think of it as pipe dream so much as creative visualization. I wish I did have psychic powers to get an edge on seven elusive numbers. Hope you’re well as can be. Big smiles. Sending Happy Thoughts for a Happy Planet.

  18. Yes and what a wonderful dream it is too, now where would you go first Penny? Probably on some deserted beach with
Johnny Depp adding the sun tan lotion, of course you would only have a towel to cover your naughtiness but while he is rubbing those into your skin the local natives will be busy mixing all your vodka and tonics, making you melon and grape juice, adding a touch of wickedness as they hope the towel will blow away in the sea breezes… Of course while all this is going on you can feel something nudging you, there is a cold spot that adds to the mystery and then… Penny, Penny… wake up Penny Wendell wants to go out… lol Well it serves you right dropping off before walkies time, but wasn’t it a fangtastic dream… Good luck with your lottery tickets, who knows it could be your lucky night next? Be very well now Penny, and that means be good too… lol
